Sleep in or see the sunrise, "whatever you decide" your all you can eat continental breakfast will be ready between 7-9 a.m. waiting for you in a mid-19th century building restored and furnished to the period.
Seymour Lake is one of Vermont's most beautiful lakes and can be explored in one of our canoes, kayaks or rowboats. On a warm summers day a swim in the lake is very refreshing at the half-mile beach directly across from the lodge. At day's end, sit on our large porch and enjoy the beautiful view overlooking the lake having dinner.
Just above the lodge in surrounding mountains are several ponds and streams, which are great for fishing, canoeing and hiking. You can almost always see loons, ducks, moose, deer and beaver. Local guides are more than willing to assist you with hunting or fishing trips. Seymour Lake is known for its excellent fishing and is conveniently located on major New England bike touring routes and snowmobile trails.
Bring your harmonica , guitar, singing voice and smores for evening fires; self-served continental breakfast served at early hours and access to the community kitchen.
